Yesterday was 01.25.10
You know what that means.
It means it has been 7 years since the record release of the And You Know This, Man! EP.
This show was epic, it was monumental. It’s already in the history books as off the charts.
ICC Alston Mass: Mental, Suicide File (LP record release), Stop And Think, Think I Care, Striking Distance, American Nightmare
Ill, ill lineup. Count Me Out was supposed to play but canceled. Their loss. After Suicide File played, Weinberg announced a special headliner. American Nightmare busted out, played all their EP songs, and then never played any of them again. Or so they said. It was a retiring party for EPs.
The Mental set was bonkers. Stop And Think was off the wall too. Just a great, great show.
This isn’t the record release cover, but you need this one for your collection anyway. Get into it.

Is this the show that had free cake and icecream in the back. If so, I think I just hung at that table the whole time.
Yo that retiring songs thing was something Weinburg said, and AN played EP songs after that show.
kurt, you are thinking of a different show, sorry.
That’d be this show (similar lineup for sure)
April 6, 2002 @Suffolk Univ Boston Mass: Stop And Think, Suicide File, A-Team (record release), Mental (first official show)
close call played the suffolk gig too but i know the cool crowd never liked us ;)
I liked close call but I only saw you twice-ish, maybe more. Once at the aforementioned show and once at hampshire college around Halloween with the A-team. I got the limited clear sleeve someone talked at that show. I played that 7″ a lot.
