B-52′s or The Cure – Nobody cares huh?

Ok, this one is a little off our regular topics but here goes. I was jamming out to youtube videos while doing tax bullshit and got lost in my head trying to decide my favorite non punk/HC anti-conformity song from the 80’s. I’m sure all you dudes with vault-brains can think of more but I have it nailed down to The Cure’s Jumping Someone Else’s Train and the B-52’s Own Private Idaho.

I like The Cure and especially the line “if you pick it up really quick, you can say you were there.” but they are such a bunch of sad-sack cry babies. Watch that B-52’s video. They rage back when they were young. Slap that shit on the turntables at some office party and all the cougars will be wild n’ right out of their big underwear in no time.

Plus I bet Fred Schneider is fun as hell to hang out with. Robert Smith looks like a dick.
