They both went down to Frisco, joined the SLA

this is a pretty cool looking Ramones/New York Dolls split single. The Ramones side is ‘Judy is a Punk’ and the New York Dolls side is ‘Human Being’.

Coolest part is that its shaped like a sawblade and its split white/red vinyl. Its to bad that the Ramones side isnt ‘Chainsaw’ that would have been more fitting.

Not sure when it came out, but it was put out by a label called Musical Tragedies. It looks like it says #25 on the sleeve and on the center labels so it might have been part of a series of split singles or something?

    you’re right. this single is a part of the so called “saw blade”-series released by german label “musical tragedies”. they are all split singles. interesting releases with some really weird combinations of artists/bands. more info:
