Seller crushedonyou brings back those mid 90s memories with his auctions. Not sure how all those EPs migrated to California, but he’s got some goods.
Here’s the Converge Downpour/ Serial Killer EP on black vinyl. It’s weird, when I think of this one, I always picture the white vinyl. There are ~1000 total 5″s. I’m not sure how they are numbered, I’m guessing randomly between black and white. All the ones I’ve come across have high and low numbers spread across the colors. 1997. Wowza. That makes this slab 13 years old. Not bad. I believe Tre of Deathwish Inc Records does backups on this gem. We love Tre. Go hit up DWI and pick up that merch. Also, if you haven’t grabbed your copy of Jane Doe on limited vinyl, now would be a good time to do that too.

I also folded the covers and #ed them with Jake. If I remember right, one of us started at #1 and the other started at #500 or something like that. The #s and colors are all over the place. There are also different runs of the covers made, and if you were a nerd enough, you could tell the difference as they were printed from different files, on different color copiers.
Whoa, nerd alert! I kid, I kid.
Tre, who did Ellington Records? Was that you and Jake? What other releases were made? Any?
These are the Ellington releases that I have:
1. Barrit 7″
2. Hallraker ‘Sessions’ 7″
3. Converge 5″
5. Barrit CD
11. Ink Cartridge Funeral CD
Number 1 I am a little hazy about, but i think I got on ebay. Numbers 2 & 5 came from pete chilton. Number 3 I got from dalbec, and mine is white, and really could do with the cover being replaced seeing as the ink has gone a bit sticky. I think number 11 came from Very distro, being part of the last order I placed that I got succesfully without being ripped off.
WHOOOFFFFFFFFFFF
I thought Mannix’s label was called something else. I’m losing it.
I bet Ellington 9 or 10 is by a band called The Awesome Machine. Actually, it’s #6 http://amzn.to/bY6ie3 according to this terrible Amazon listing.
