montropolis has a bunch of stuff up for sale including some cool Rorschach vinyl.
This is the debut 7″ from Bostons Wrecking Crew. I already talked about Keith Bennett in a post last week but I’ll mention again that if you havent heard PanzerBastard, you should check them out!
This 7″ was put out by Vortex Records, the lable started by Mark McKay from Slapshot. The seller says that he bought this at the record release show in 1988 and if I remember correctly, even though Wrecking Crew was from Boson, that show was in New York. I remember a story about Mark & Reverend Hank driving the vinyl up to NY for the show and hand writting assorted messages inside the sleeves.

Oops… checking my own post, I guess I didn’t mention it – Sweet Pete has stamped copy #1 of this record, he said he bought it off Mark while sitting next to him on the T heading over to the record release show at the Green Street Station in JP.
I’ll have to ask Mark what the show in NY was unless I’m just confusing my stories,
