CRISIS – No Town Hall 7″

Crisis were a great political punk band from the UK who are probably best known as being Douglas Pearce of Death In June’s first band. They played very minimal, dreary sounding punk, somewhere between the first Wire LP and the first Joy Division 7″.

Interestingly, the song “Holocaust” was recently covered by Tragedy, and hearing them play it live made an immediate connection in my head that “Oh yeah, that’s where they got that sound from.”

Opening bid on this is about what the record is worth, so if someone could get away with it at the opening bid I’d say it’s a good deal (especially for an American buyer).
