A Thursday afternoon Thought Crusade

I am not so sure if the kids really like the No For An Answer LP. I know that people really sweat the 7″, but I always felt that the LP was superior. I chalk that up to the fact that the 7″ is on Revelation, and, well, you know how people are about those coveted Rev stars.

Loyalty is never certain, except from one man, you’ll find him in the mirror, he’s the best friend you have.

I am listening to this right now, and I still believe this is far better than the 7″, perhaps handsomephantom agrees. He is selling the 7″ as well, so I suppose we’ll never know.

Severely appreciated. This record inspired me to start singing in a band. Love it more than the ep.
I wish there more variations, I’d buy them all. But I believe Dan didn’t want color vinyl or collector’s variants, which explains the 3000 on black.
I believe the euro version missed the lyric insert, but for the rest no differences? Anyone care to elaborate? I’ve been meaning to investigate this sometime…

Great record. I like this more than Screaming For A Change or as I once saw it listed on ebay, Screaming For Murder.

Musically it is better than the EP for sure, but it’s not on Rev and the cover is not as cool.

Listen to this LP, and then put on the Circle Storm 7″. CS took over the studio while NFAA was recording the LP and out for lunch, and that’s why you’ll hear similarities in the mix. Although I think they didn’t do much mixing with the CS recording.
Chris Bratton skipped lunch and was maybe responsible for inviting his Chain buddies to join him?
–But I could have it all wrong–

I agree. They should have put an ape on the front, carrot juice stories in the matrix, and have spiderman stamps on the insert. And some Token Entry b-side labels.Lastly, let the Hawker bird fingerpoint and…..Bingo!!

fuck, anyone is on crack if they think the ep is better. i would go as far to say that the ep kind of blows, esp if you compare it to lp. the musicianship on this is much better. was bummed they didnt do any songs off of this at the reunion. did anyone fork over the 8 bucks for the new ep? is it any good?
