Por SELL

Everyone’s favourite Youth Of Today & Judge guitarist, committedforlife (aka Porcell) seems to have raided the Revelation vault recently, and he’s offering his to spoils to whoever can stump up the most (obscene amount of) money. Good on him though I say. Better someone who was actually in the band(s) get a share of today’s eBay proceeds for once rather than some flip artist.

The best thing about these auctions (aside from the records themselves, that is) are the little stories he tells in the item descriptions. I won’t bother pasting them here. Instead, I’ll let you click through and read them for yourself…

When they gave him that Judge record they paired it up with the wrong insert :)

Don’t think so Dobek, have seen a couple with black and whit inserts, including mine. I think green came with both this nag black and yellow insert. But I could be wrong.

3 years ago he had a Judge on green that went for a small $150, can’t wait so see what this one goes for.

I always thought all the 1st press came with yellow inserts.
The white inserts dont appear until after the black /purple one I think.
If there are any green vinyl copies with b/w inserts I think they were paired up fairly recently. I have no real facts to prove this theory true other than yellow insert is a confirmed 1st press and b/w we don’t really know when they were first made (you’re the 1st person to actually tell me there are other copies of the 1st press with b/w insert) but if it is true it’s kind of like owning GB on purple with non embossed cover = not cool.

But now the question is, how much of a Judge completist are you?

What Goeff says there only proves my theory right: The green vinyl / white insert is a fairly recently paired up combo. 1st press vinyl with 146th press cover/insert. Do not want :)

“back in the late 90′s jordan had several green copies of BID without sleeves. so he had extra sleeves made up for the green ones during that pressing of BID. so you will notice many of the rev workers of that time period have this record and sleeve combo.”

Only the 1st pressing had the Printed in Canada on the spine. All the represses had this covered with a silly pink (WHY PINK???) box.

I will repeat myself but owning this green vinyl with the repress cover is like having GB ST on purple with NON embossed sleeve = UNcool.

But if they don’t mind it then more power to the winner of this auction!

Not sure about this copy being sold, but my copy on Green has original 1st press cover (no pink rectangle lol).
