Tags Matching: 12 inch single

I remember back in the mid 80′s when I started collecting records I was really into Metallica at the time. I was lucky enough to get copies of all the LPs up to that point, plus some picture disc versions, some interview picture discs, some live bootleg vinyl and singles of Creeping Death & Jump in the Fire. I also heard about a single for ‘Whiplash’ but was told it was imposible to find and was really expensive so I assumed I would never have one.

Well during one of our regular family trips to Lukes Record Exchange in Pawtucket, RI (which recently closed after almost 30 years in business!) was was flipping through the Metallica section and I found the mythical Whiplash 12″ single! I was shocked and grabbed it immediatly! I was even more shocked that the price in it was $4! I inspected the vinyl and it was far from mint condition. It has visable scratches on it, but I didnt care because now I had Whiplash!

Well years later eBay has made it so everyone can have Whiplash in much better condition than mine for only a few dollars more….
