One of the heaviest Boston hardcore records, plus its got a Smiths cover on it!
This is the record that brought Slapshot out of the 3 record slump they were in after they signed with We Bite. The ever amazing Mark McKay returned on drums and they resigned with Taang! and all was well in the universe again!
The only way to get this record on vinyl is this Lost & Found picture disc version, unless you can find a test pressing (which is on black vinyl), but I’ve only seen 2 of those in years of looking. I did hear a rumor that Taang! had considered releasing 16 Valve Hate & Olde Tyme Hardcore as a double 10″ set years ago, but it never happened. I also heard that there may have been test press 10″s done, but I can’t confirm that. They did release a bunch of Bosstones stuff on 10″ so its very possible that its true!
Anyway, get this record and make your turntable happy!
