Unbroken – Life. Love. Regret. on Blue

The rare and highly collectible blue vinyl parade continues with an absolute 90′s classic and one of my personal favorite albums of all time. Legend seller barfight has run into the all too common “financial difficulties” and is forced to unload one of the harder to find hardcore records out there, Unbroken’s Life. Love. Regret. on blue vinyl.

The New Age Records website states that there were 499 of these pressed on blue vinyl. Well then these are 500 of the most well hidden or hoarded records out there. Only a couple a year pop up and go for some pretty big dollars.
The picture and description shows that the record is in fantastic shape and that could end up raising the average price. My new favorite record price search website, Collectors Frenzy, shows that this record sells for as high as $200, but more realistically around $130. I wish I could make a play on this but I can see it getting too rich for my blood in a hurry.

Screaming With Deadguy

Just like Brother’s Keeper, this might not be a really popular album, but I like it a lot - szimm98 has here the Deadguy 10″ on Victory on colored vinyl (pretty sure the only color variant), for a mere .99 so far. This was the last Deadguy output and it was after the member changes, but I think it’s still a good record and doesn’t deserve the bad wrap. Gotta love that woody woodpecker! I suggest to read the Deadguy interview in “Burning Fight”, it gives a lot of insight into the band and the member changes, you might just appreciate this album a little more after reading it.

My Keeper, is he my brother?

Hey, so I know of only one other person besides me who likes the Bro Keep in 2012 (happy new year!), Actually Chip might also like them. Yeah, maybe it’s a MN thing because they had a split 12″ with Disembodied, or maybe it’s because I like most things people hate, who knows. I like it though and I like Mike’s voice. Most hc bands start strong and fade out, but Brother’s Keeper didn’t really “come together” in my mind until the “Sweet Revenge” and the Trustkill 7″s though. Their early stuff is pretty bland, their later stuff when Mike sounded less like a parrot is not that great either. The meat is in the middle of this sandwich! (sorry for that horrible expression).

So really, I can’t vouch for this 7″, seeing it’s from their early period, is this their first release? I’ve never seen it before and look at that horrible, ugly 1990′s cover! This is another one from Earwax Records.
