Remember Record Store Day? It wasn’t that long ago. It’s a pretty cool day. People all over the globe anticipate it like it was Christmas. This year, most people seemed to anticipate the day AFTER record store day even more. So much flipping occurred this year. It was CRAZY. This Touche Amore record is one that plenty of people wanted. Limited to 250. And the release to record stores went funky. Something happened where they were pressed too late or something, and they couldn’t be distributed in time to record stores. Instead, people, like the seller the_jakeless, had to park in front of their computers at 11am EST to fight through the throngs on the hellfish site. If you got one, you were one of the lucky ones. Fast forward 7 months, and it’s available in this auction. I suspect prices won’t be as insane as the first week, but this will still get up there. Good luck.

A benefit for Mr. Hardcore pt 2
Round 2 from the michael_moz. This time it’s some pretty standard and harder to get 7 inches from BBB, 6131, and A Horror Show Test Press, Rock Bottom Test Press and Let Down Test Press.
A benefit for Mr. Hardcore
This past Friday there was a great show for a benefit for Joe Hardcore. The show was stacked from top to bottom. Born Annoying, Agitator, Face Reality, Pegasus, The Wrong Side, Floorpunch and Cold World. There were some raffles, and silent auctions for records to add to the benefit for Joe. michael_moz is helping with the cause and putting all the records that were auctioned off that didn’t get grabbed at the show. There’s a ton of stuff for sale. As for now, I’m going to post the 12″‘s.
Such Gold
Should I get into Such Gold? I’ve been told since I like both Tigers Jaw and Title Fight, that Such Gold will be my bread and butter. But I think if I listen to one more band that sounds like that, Cooch may stop talking to me. These guys are VERY far from NYHC, that’s for sure. Which way do I go?
ote_records has two Stand Tall EPs from Mightier Than Sword Records. The first one is limited to 100 and is white/black split. The second is limited to 250 and is white/seaweed green split.
9140emery has the Pedestals LP from 6131 Records. This one is limited to 300. You can still grab the orange vinyl over on Hellfish. Go get it!
Backtrack – Deal With The Devil aka Joey
When Backtrack decided to release this ep called Deal With The Devil on 6131 Records, I can only assume they were talking about Joey. I mean, seriously, have you seen that guys beard? When he gets his crazy eyes on, their is no telling what’s going to happen next. Shout outs to the patriotic pressing. Red White And Blue. Feeling it. Scoop these from itsxdead.

First World Problems
Our good friends from 6131 Records & Sound And Fury fest have a fun new project out there. It’s called First World Problems and is an EXCELLENT podcast. It’s a fun and semi-goofy look at the scene with music and movie reviews as well as an occasional interview. This one is definitely worth tuning in for. Two episodes in the book and more to come. You know we’re fans!
Check the sites listed above to support those guys so they can continue to do fun projects like this. And if you are that hard up, you can always lurk ebay for older 6131 Records merch and Sound & Fury gear.

Alpha And Omega
natehud has good timing on his ebay auctions. Courtesy of a brand new LP getting dropped, this EP is now stirring up plenty of talk. Straight out of 6131 Records, this one doesn’t pull any punches. This one is the first press and was limited to 300 on gold vinyl. You better snap it up.
Also, instead of buying this colored vinyl copy (real specific, right? Weak) of the lp, go straight to the source. If you haven’t picked one up yet or ordered one, you are doing yourself a disservice. Get On It!! Continue reading
A Few Good Test Presses
First up is the Mercy For None comp from Reaper Records. As you know, vinylnoize.com LOVES Reaper Records, and why shouldn’t we? Great dudes, great releases.
This is one of those great releases featuring many Reaper Records bands.
Naysayer, Bad Seed, Absolute Madness, Unforgiven, Brick, and Alpha & Omega
Best bands of 2010, basically.
Next up is the Bad Seed test press from 6131 Records. Another great EP by a great band. Sounds good to me.
