Good Weather, Good Tunes – JFA Blatant Localism

Today in Philadelphia the weather was in the mid 70′s. If I found this listing earlier in the day I would have grabbed my board (that is back at my parents house) thrown on a t-shirt and shorts and hit the streets. This “EP full of classy teenage punk anthems” reminds me 100% of good weather and skateboarding. What a great cover, tunes and lyrics. I’m pretty sure I have gone a few days in the summer just eating cokes and snickers. As for this auction, seller hannahstuuuber has got the original 1981 copy of JFA’s (Jodie Foster’s Army) 7″ EP “Blatant Localism”, released on Placebo Records. This ends in little less than a day, so be sure to check out the auction.

Wind Of Change – Arizona Straight Edge

dvltn43 has a gem for us today. Here’s the Wind Of Change “Rain” EP. It doesn’t pop up often and the band often slips through the cracks. I suppose that’s what happens when you are from Arizona in the late 80s. This one is from 1988. Whenever bands mention traveling through that region, Wind Of Change is brought up and revered. People loved it but somehow, it still slid through the cracks. This one is interesting too. It’s numbered, 7 out of 9. The seller thinks it was a tour press, but is unsure. Anyone know? I’d love to know what the handwritten note says.
