Assjack is one of the many bands featuring Shelton Hank Williams the Third, aka HANK III. I remember the first time I found out about Hank III. I was driving with a friend and we were behind a pick up truck with a huge sticker in the back windown that said HANK in the Misfits font and then had the first 3 bars from the Black Flag logo. I made a comment about it asking if my friend knew about a band called Hank and if they sounded like Black Flag or the Misfits and he said, thats Hank Williams grandson. I was shocked and then heard a few songs and it started to make more sense! I know that some of what he does is somewhat straight dixie/country, but he also does some pretty cool punk/hardcore stuff. He plays drums in Arson Anthem and bass in Superjoint Ritual (both with Phil Anselmo) and he has his own metal/punk/hardcore band Assjack!
