I was inspired to put on this record after seeing an old M.O.D. shirt on www.TeeTillDeath.com and it was like I was being transported back to 1988! I love the comedic value of this record, but the music is great too. One of my favorite things is that the whole record a soundtrack (with dialog inserted between songs) for a fake movie, but it always reminded me a lot of ‘Back to the Beach’ the Frankie Avalon & Annette Funicello movie from 1987. Side note: it always irritated me that ‘Back to the Beach’ was billed as a Pee Wee Herman movie. He was in it for about 3 minutes and the movie is great enough to stand on its own merit!
