Stumbled upon this real quick, description says Belgian metalcore from 1999 in the H8000 vein. Never heard of this. Maybe Chip or some of our Belgian readers can shed some light? Looks interesting. Couldn’t find anything on google, if someone has a download link, please post.

TRUE COLORS Focus on the Light /3

Can there be masterpieces of modern pos core? If there are then Focus On The Light is one of them. In my humble opinion its up there with We’re Not In The Alone (but not BDTW) or the Side By Side 7″. People always use the Euro thing as a strike against bands before they even hear them, so if thats stopped you from listening to this then i feel sorry for you.
Considering i put out 3 True Colors records, it was kind of surprised to see this one up since i had never heard of it before. But leave it to bust! to break out the goodies. Limited to 3!!!

TRUE COLORS Consider It Done test press

Heres another from bust! on Control Records. This time is the final 7″ from True Colors in test press format. I did a US pressing of this on my label but I like the cover of the one he did more (not that you can tell from this test press cover). Theres a few more test of this one than Geert usually does, i think due to a pressing plant mix up? Germans take note, more of them to go around for you!

Positive Political Powerful

Here’s something else from our buddy chainxcrew. Not to be confused with the newer band Nations A Fire, this band was an early 1990′s political SE band from Belgium, and were part of the beginning of the early H8000 scene, or proto-H8000 maybe. (read about this here on H8000 Central). Musically they actually somewhat remind me of Floorpunch, yeah, for real, but a little faster. This is their first full-length. Some of the politics might be veering off into real hippie territory but overall the heart is in the right place. A good, underrated band.

Dead Stop – Live For Nothing

Man, what a deal, one of the best bands of the mid 2000′s on sale for $6.49? Heck yes.
buymycollectibles doesn’t seem like a punk record dealer, and that’s good for you, since you’ll be able to grab this cool LP for cheap. Dead Stop from Belgium definitely blew up the 2000′s for me, equal parts AF and NA, all rage. This is their second and last LP, and I’m pretty sure it’s out of print, seeing as how Havoc doesn’t have any anymore. What a great record, furious, intelligent, awesome! Don’t pass this up, the 50% off sale ends in a day!!!!

I don’t know if they played the US that much, but I’m glad I was able to see them once with Set To Explode.

2-3-JUSTICE!

One of my favorite bands of the 2000s. One of my least favorite bands to search for anything on ebay. The keyword Justice brings up a lot fo shit I dont want and filtering it all out is too much a pain in the ass for me. rousseaugtr has up a nice little Justice record though. The demo pressed to vinyl. A one time pressing of 325 on black vinyl that sold out pretty quick. Very simple and dope. I love one version of a record. Im not trying to have 800 versions of the same record which is just a tape pressed to wax anyways(im lookin at you Have Heart demo 7″ who took it to ridiculous heights)

Why this record is not more popular is beyond me.
Yes I know they are from euro and you probably didnt give them a chance. Yes I know their later records are an aquired taste. But you have no reason for not picking this up. I will say this might be my favorite LP of the 2000s. You may not agree and I dont care, It has been in constant rotation since I have gotten it. Great dudes in the band and this LP doesnt have one clunker on it. Tilburg riffs and Justice cover art?!? Solid solid shit.
