Bloodcum started out as a few kids hanging out watching Slayer practice in the garage at Tom Arayas parents house. Since one of the kids was Toms little brother John, the guys would let the kids play on their gear once Slayer practice was over. It didnt take long before the kids got decent and actually got signed to an small lable that put out this record. The funniest thing seems to be that there was also a kid named Joey Hanneman in the band, but nothing I’ve read makes any mention of him being Jeffs brother. I cant imagine that theres no relation between Joey & Jeff though.
Toms brother John went on to guitar tech for Slayer and then some other bands and then to play for Thine Eyes Bleed. Eventually Bloodcum did break up, but they reunited for 2 shows in 2005 with Joey, but without John.
They released this ep on Wild Rags Records in 1987 and then the LP ‘Death By a Clothes Hanger’ in 1988.
side note: On the line up list for the ‘Death By a…’ LP it says “John Araya – Guitar/Bass, Straight Edge”
