I was at Armageddon Shop in Providence again the other day and once again they were playing something that caught my ear. This time it was NIGHTSTICK. Slow, super fuzzed out, distorted stoner rock with LOTS of feedback! The first track on the CD is basicly a 10 minute distorted bass solo, but the rest of the band kicks in for the chorus part after about 5 minutes of fuzz… Super Noizy…. Super Awesome!
I believe that the drummer from Siege was this band and I know they have at least 2 other records out, but I dont know if they are as good as this one. I also love at the spine of the CD case proudly proclaims WEYMOUTH ROCK! (Weymouth Mass).
This CD is priced so low you could just about skip your morning trip to Dunkin Donuts and get this insted!
