Looking back on Wilson Wednesday, I now realize that my connections were worse than any Morgado has ever dreamed up. I would say they were better than this Bold LP being sold by xxxevilxxx666, though. I can’t get into this one. I love Crippled Youth and the Speak Out though. Love em. 206 on purple vinyl. Oddly, this one never seems to pop up. Here’s your chance.

Together comp on Orange vinyl
Alot of auctions from incorrectthoughts lately. This time its a Rev #2 on orange vinyl. Not to be confused with the gold vinyl. This is ORANGE. Its got some battle scars on the back cover and what looks like some coffee stains on the insert, but its got Youth of Today on it so bid hard.
One thing thats always bothered me about this record is the paper thin cover and super thick insert. I feel like its a cover wear disaster waiting to happen.
Lots And Lots!
Seller herheartofau just upped a bunch of record lots this morning, and there’s some cool stuff. I think the Revelation Records lot is the one most of you would be interested in to start…
…closely followed by the Outspoken lot.
There are also some good West Coast oriented lots up, featuring the likes of XChorusX, Carry Nation, Amenity, and Forced Down…
…and there are a couple other lots up as well that you can check out by looking through the seller’s other auctions. Be sure to check out the sick One Life Crew poster!
Lots of Lots.
Seller live_hard has taken the time saving tactic of putting many of his records into lots. This is also probably going to turn out to be a pretty good money maker for him as well, since plenty of these are records that do well on their own…
Apologies for my extended absence btw. I had a show to play and a wedding to attend this weekend, and I drafted a whole lot of posts in hopes of being ahead of the game. But alas, the seller (who will remain nameless) was actually IN said wedding, and didn’t have time to set up the auctions I had drafted on his advance notice. I’m sure they’ll be hitting soon enough. See you tomorrow for Test Press Tuesday.
80′s Straight Edge. Boom.
Kind of crazy how the “big names” in this series of 80s Straight Edge vinyl auctions from xuttermoshx are currently all skewing much lower than the likes of Wide Awake, Brotherhood, and Turning Point. Not like those are low sellers or anything, it’s just that I was totally expecting the Bold gatefold with poster to be the one climbing quickest.
Bold – Looking Back
I can only imagine vitaminhedgehog saw the records and listings from aapjekoala before posting this Bold LP. Sure, it’s limited to 206 and yes, the purple is hard to come by … but no, the black streaks don’t make it a $230 BIN LP. The seller doesn’t appear to be a hardcore collector, as this is the only Revelation Records item they have. Everything else is Elvis and Beatles, for the most part. Hit the seller up, maybe you can swing a deal.
PS. kudos to whomever called that $440 Judge LP BIN years ahead of it’s time. I tried to pun up the title of this post along that lines, but couldn’t work it appropriately.
Bold – Orange & Pink
People go goo goo gah gah over Revelation Records vinyl. It’s a thing to do. I do it, you do it. We all do it. But sometimes, things come along that have a “manufactured rarity” associated with them (thanks for the term, Cooch). In the case of the Bold EP, like the one aapjekoala is selling, we have a great example. Here’s the deal, and I’m sure most of you already know it, because you’ve already gone goo goo gah gah over this particular EP. The plant farted up. Yeap, that’s what it comes down to, the plant effed up. They were aiming for maroon (to match the cover) and came up with pink. They did 60 of those, and tried again. No plate cleaning, just straight over to orange. So there are some EPs with pink/orange swirls and mixes. Looking at just one EP is nearly impossible to figure it out. You can check Kev Finn’s handiwork over on Rev but I prefer the picture Dobek took. Head over to his blog to see all three EPs stacked up against each other. It’s an interesting one.
This EP appears to have some pink splotches. Maybe a few. Nothing to get too goo goo gah gah over …
The seller also has Bringin It Down on green vinyl. Fairly steep opener and a slightly bigger BIN. Have a look.

Stock Collection: Revelation Records
When I was younger, I had one goal with my record collection: I wanted every pressing of Revelation Records 1-23. If you think about it, it’s less than 100 records (I wasn’t including test presses, and this was before the Final Presses or RSD presses). It may even be less than 75 records, but it’d be close. I did pretty well. I actually scored a majority of them from one seller (thanks Dickie). But over the years, many slipped through my fingers (first press GB EP with numbered b-side). It happens, especially when your focus changes. That’s what happened to me. I went from vinyl to tshirt. I think I made the right choice. But if you are like me, you really want to nail those first epic Rev releases. xuttermoshx has what you need. He’s got 3 stock items that you need.
