In My Eyes – Demo 7″ Lil Wayne cover

The In My Eyes Demo 7″ released on Big Wheel Recreation has a pretty good number of pressings, colors and special covers going on, but this one has me sitting up and taking notice.

I’ve never actually seen a Lil Wayne cover before. I have only heard about it on message boards and blogs, so this is definitely cool. Only 10 were made for the band and friends, so this stands to be one of the rarest IME records out there.

There is just over a day left and is sitting at a low price right now. I’m intrigued.

Bane – 10 Year Anniversary 7 inch

Seller delapasion is offering up one hell of a collector-ready hardcore record for your collection.

Everything about this record is cool. Bane do a 10 Year Anniversary tour, and don’t have 7″s ready. So the band press the two songs they recorded onto a cd instead. They put the cd into 7″ sleeves and sell them at shows.
Each cd has a redemption code you send in and you receive the 7″ in the mail when they are ready, plus you get to keep the cd. Months later, you have your record.

Now you can have one without all the fuss, hassle and waiting around!

A total of 450 were pressed, each hand numbered on the cd and the 7″ sleeve. Most of the vinyl was on orange and white swirl like this one, but there was also a green and yellow one too. Now you just have to track that one down…

Petitioning My Empty Wallet

So I was listening to this album last night, and I gave it a thorough cleaning and realized just how beat my copy of it is. I mean, yeah, I got it used for $3, about ten years ago but, I guess I haven’t pulled it out in a while, even though I really love this album. So am in in the market to upgrade, upgrade! Couldn’t have picked a worse time though probably. Band is as popular as ever, record prices are as high as ever, so in most likelihood I will not be winning or even bidding on this nice looking orange vinyl copy offered by ekim90245. Favorite Converge LP? Maybe! ‘Emo-Slayer’, gotta love it! Pure raw, distorted chaos, but not sloppy or incompetent. What I always loved about Converge. That and the pile-on picture on the back. This one is ending kind of soon.

Have Heart – The Things We Carry 2nd press

Hey you! Psst! While everyone is blowing their brains out over the Pat Flynn auctions up right now for super rare test presses and tour presses, here is your chance to pick up a really nice copy of “The Things We Carry” on the down low.

rambeaupunk is selling this yellow with green splatter 2nd press with around a day to go, a reasonable opening price and no bids.

I realize there were a 1000 of these pressed, but that hasn’t stopped people from driving the cost of this one up over the years. Now might be a good time to jump at it while everyone else is distracted!

The Rival Mob – Hardcore For Hardcore

Hey, what’s going on? My name is Doug W. I’m new here. I do a punk & hardcore vinyl collecting blog called “We Will Bury You”. Over the last couple years that blog helped me meet nice, like-minded individuals which has led me here…writing for Vinyl Noize. I couldn’t be happier. Alright, enough of my jabber jawing, let’s check out some vinyl.

Seller mpdnyc has the entire first press (kind of) of The Rival Mob’s latest 7″ Hardcore For Hardcore up for grabs, including this one which is limited to around 150.

It’s supposed to be purple and yellow splatter but a majority of them ended up looking black. My copy looks much like this one with just a dot or two of color.
Whatever, the record is amazing, has less than two days to go and is sitting at a buck. Someone could make out like a bandit on this one.

THE THINGS WE CARRY Record Release / Black vinyl

Another heavy hitter from Pat Flynn’s Have Heart vault. With only 40 of these made there aren’t many to go around and someone crazy is going to have to shell out big bucks for this. I wasnt at the show but i imagine they flew off the shelves there too.

Slightly more friendly on the wallet is this 4th pressing on black. Out of 100 copies its still hard to track down.

SSDecontrol 2-fer

Seller 33eyez has been liquidating a really nice collection of classic American hardcore records and printed goods over the past few months, and he just launched a nice new batch of goodies for everyone to get their greasy little mitts on.

Although these aren’t my two favorite X-Claim! releases — the #1 and #2 spots are reserved for My America and Is This My World?, respectively, and these guys rank #3 and #4 with Get It Away over Kids — I have to say that every time I see either of the covers, a little Carl Brutananadilewski pops up in my head and says, “Classic, total classic.”

Side note: never realized till recently that Pushead’s Get It Away art is a direct lift of a Spirit comic splash page by Will Eisner.

Is This My World?

Might as well make it three X-Claims in a row (and the three best, at that) with this great looking copy of ITMW from seller amerbs. I have to disagree with the post below though and say that this and My America are better than Get It Away, but really you can’t lose with any of them.

This has less than a day to go and it’s not sky high yet, so hopefully someone can take this home for a decent price.
