Before the Rival Mob, before Free Spirit, before No Tolerance or any of the other Doug Free bands we all know and love, there was Bottom Line, aka Bottom Line NYC.

I admittedly don’t have much to say about this stage of Doug Free’s career. To be honest, he wasn’t even really Doug Free then, because he didn’t have the luxurious locks of hair that he is now known for. He’s kind of like Samson in that regard: without his hair, he has no freedom. But it was so far as I know, the first appearance of Doug Free: the man with the band, and so it needed to be posted.
