Tags Matching: Brother’s Keeper

Hey, so I know of only one other person besides me who likes the Bro Keep in 2012 (happy new year!), Actually Chip might also like them. Yeah, maybe it’s a MN thing because they had a split 12″ with Disembodied, or maybe it’s because I like most things people hate, who knows. I like it though and I like Mike’s voice. Most hc bands start strong and fade out, but Brother’s Keeper didn’t really “come together” in my mind until the “Sweet Revenge” and the Trustkill 7″s though. Their early stuff is pretty bland, their later stuff when Mike sounded less like a parrot is not that great either. The meat is in the middle of this sandwich! (sorry for that horrible expression).

So really, I can’t vouch for this 7″, seeing it’s from their early period, is this their first release? I’ve never seen it before and look at that horrible, ugly 1990′s cover! This is another one from Earwax Records.
