More Vinyl BIN’s.

Another batch of “VIN’s” from rasputin_music_rarities, and I once again remind you that a. these prices are totally random, and b. shipping is $9.55 for priority mail, be it ep or lp. But like I said before… holiday season. Wishing people well. Doing nice things, like showcasing auctions from sellers without a clue…

I know I’m trying to be nice by posting these, but if you’re gonna try to get that a BIN like that on a record like Minor Threat’s IME ep, shouldn’t you actually have more information on the record up than that? Maybe a picture of the actual vinyl? Especially when the cover has a giant crease down the middle?

Signed; Not Yet Sealed Or Delivered.

I’ve never really gotten the whole autograph thing. Well, actually, I sort of get it. Just not so much when it comes to hardcore and punk. Sure, you have guys like Danzig where I totally understand and would be into having their signature on a white vinyl press of Legacy of Brutality, like this one being sold by rsw195757

But part of why that makes sense to me is because, aside from being a legendary figure, Danzig has had way more to do with metal than punk and hardcore for years now, and it always seemed to me that autographs were for the realm of metal…

(quick note of two things: both of the above are ending shortly, and the Manowar seller has a fantastic seller name.)

…and of course for mainstream rock/music stars.

(I love Dolly. STFU.)

So basically my point is, while I get the demand for autographs of any of the above, I am mildly dumb founded at the sight of this autographed Comeback Kid test press being sold by chicagoarchive:

Was Comeback Kid that big a band that an autographed test press will be a big ticket item? Def interested in seeing how this one goes.

the fine art of cannibalism!

Vince Locke is an artist that has worked on comics including Judge Dredd, A History of Violence, Sandman, Batman, Deadworld and a bunch of others. He has also worked on art for the gaming company Wizards of the Coast and done a lot of artwork for the death metal/grind core band Cannibal Corpse.

He is selling some original Judge Dredd comic pages and this 12 x 12 acrylic & watercolor painting titled ‘Butchered at Birth’ which was used for the cover art of the Cannibal Corpse album of the same title. The art was determined to be obscene and when some stores refused to stock the album they were wrapped in butchers paper to cover the obscenity.

Now you can decorate your home, apartment or dorm room with the original painting, but act fast because it ends soon!
