a couple of real Bruisers!

chrisreject and byrnesry are both selling red vinyl copies of the first ever Bruisers record which was put out by Choke on his lable Patriot Records. I think the story was that Chokes wife (now his ex-wife) was in a store somewhere on the cape where one of the Bruisers was working. The guy knew who she was and gave her a demo tape to bring home to Choke. He liked it and had just started Patriot Records as an All American OI lable so he decided to put out the 7″. I’ve asked him a few times about test presses, but he said he doesnt have one anymore. I keep hoping he finds one in a box he hasnt opened in a while up in the attic or down in the basement!

I Hate Tourists!

One of the best non XClaim releases of early 80′s New England hardcore! The Freeze don’t fit the standard Boston Hardcore mold, but there is no arguing how great they are… just listen to ‘This is Boston Not LA’!

This is an original first press copy, which was 2000 records, but this copy is from the first 200 because its in the pink construction paper (stolen from the Cape Cod Highschool) sleeve. The next 300 came in orange sleeves and the remaining 1500 had no sleeves at all.

There are lots of amazing records on eBay right now (thank you bad economy), but this will probably still sell in the $250 range.
