From the Collection of Stigma: Fallout “Rock Hard” – ATTN: TYPE O AND CARNIVORE FANS

Did you ever think you needed or wanted a Fallout “Rock Hard” single from “The Official Collection of Vinnie Stigma”. Well it just so happens that seller durtymickstore is selling a few pieces of Stigma’s collection. Aside from the extremely rare Fallout “Rock Hard” single you could potentially win on ebay, you’ll also receive a certification stating that it’s from Stigma’s collection.

Stigma

**Had to include this pic of Stigma rocking the Carnivore shirt.**

Fallout was Peter Steele’s first band before Type O and before Carnivore. Silver Records put this single out and contain the songs “Rock Hard” and “Batteries Not Included”. 3 days left and this is climbing up real quick

Carnivore – Retaliation LP ?Roadracer? Records

Seller curtain74 has got the 2nd Carnivore LP – Retaliation up for auction. This LP was released in 1987 on Roadrunner Records two years after the Self Titled LP. Type O Negative has been in the limelight in the hardcore and metal scene since the passing of Peter Steele (RIP) almost two years ago. I think there should be just as much attention on Steele’s second band Carnivore as Type O Negative’s (his first was a band called Fallout that released a 7″ in 81). Seller curtain74 put in his item description that Roadracer Records released this record. This could be a simple typo, but something you might want to look into because of the 34.99 starting bid. I know my roommate would be all over this if he was record collector. BUT, if there’s any vinylnoize readers out there with some original Carnivore concert tee’s laying around I know someone who would be very interested in those.

Type O Box Set

A little more than a week ago, I featured Type O Negative’s Dead Again LP, which got no bids…This time around we have the Type O Negative Box Set for the Record Store Day’s Black Friday 2011 sale.  The Creepy Green Vinyl is definitely getting some attention on the bay with a few other auctions. The record auction that arapi4519 put up for grabs is a sealed copy of the box set and includes a real picture of the set and not just the picture from the Roadrunner Site.

The box set includes 6 LP’s of 6 of the Roadrunner Releases, (Slow Deep and Hard, Origin of the Feces, Bloody Kisses, October Rust, World Coming Down and Life is Killing Me). The box set is out of 1000 on green vinyl and not only includes previously unreleased vinyl releases it also includes a ton of extra goodies that any Type O head could get down with (stickers, and new liner notes). My roommate, Michael nearly had a meltdown when we showed up to Double Decker and they were sold out of the set at 10 AM. Luckily he had a few bros get some a copy for them.  Too bad they couldn’t add a scratch and sniff sticker on the Origin of the Feces

I WANT THIS CARNIVORE LP

I remember when I first started getting into records I had a friend who had a ton of vinyl and for some reason my eyes were always drawn to this Carnivore record. I have wanted to get a copy of this original version but I dont want to pay what graveyardgreg00 is asking for his BIN price. I guess I’ll just keep hoping to find one in a record bin somewhere and hope its priced lower!

Can’t Eat It or Fuck It… Then Kill It!

CARNIVORE “Brooklyn Boot Boys – The demos and the Fallout recordings” the sellers says that this is the same record as the Nuclear Warriors LP except its black vinyl and in a different sleeve.

Nuclear Warriors was a pressing of 400 on marble vinyl and this Brooklyn Boot Boys LP is suposidly limited to only 100 copies all on black vinyl. Auction says that 88 of them are numbered copies and the other 12 were ‘promos’ which this is one of.

Its obviously a bootleg, but since there are not many legit Carnivore things to collect I thought this was kind of cool.

The other day I posted the ‘Tribute to Bad Brains’ CD and made mention of this ‘Tribute to Carnivore’ but I still haven’t heard it yet….

Petrus T. Steele – RIP

It was early in the week when I found the auctions from team.prozac but I’m pretty sure it will be my favorite user name of the week! Plus almost everything hes selling is Pete Steele related.

This is a live Carnivore (bootleg most likely) that I’ve never seen. ‘Deliver Us To Evil’ Live 1985 releasted on ‘Male Supremacy Records in 1988 and on the sleeve it says its limited to only 250 copies! 8 songs including ‘the star spangled banner’. Has anyone ever heard this?

if you cant eat it or fuck it…. kill it!

This is a trio of rare, or at least odd, Carnivore records. I’m not a big fan of Type O Negative at all, but I do love me some Carnivore! They’re so over the top and tongue in cheek (I think they’re kidding at least) that its awesome. Plus how many hardcore bands have members that were in Playgirl Magazine??

I’ve never seen any of these records before and I’m assuming they are all bootlegs, but I dont know that for sure.

The first 2 were recorded Live August 31st 1984 and put out by Bicuspid Records. They aprear to be pretty recent releases and I’ve never seen them before. The auction states that the black vinyl is limited to 400 and the blue vinyl to only 100.

The 3rd one, put out by Thrashard Records, is a collection of demos mostly recorded in 1984 and one songs listed as being ‘Pre-Carnivore’ from 1981. Auction says its on colored vinyl (doesnt say what color) and that its limited to 400 copies in one spot and 700 copies in another spot of the description.
