Carry On, Test Press Tuesday, Carry On.

Ordinarily, we’d just wait til Test Press Tuesday to bring you this one from absolutemadness, but this here is the thing: absolutemadness is actually my friend Corey, who you might know better as the singer of Internal Affairs, and the guitar player of Carry On. And he’s being forced to sell these 3 records from the repressing of the Carry On lp because some piece of dick stole his car. NOT COOL. So now he’s going to have to start auctioning things off to try and get money for a new one. Yeah, given the situation,Test Press Tuesday is just gonna have to wait while we help my bro out. Besides, you know you love Carry On, and you know you hate thieves…

TheClevo Is The New Tre

theclevo is the new Tre. That’s right. From here on out, Clevo is our main guy. For a few reasons. We still love Tre, but lets face it, Tre is pretty much a commie. Have you seen his record backdrop? What’s that all about? Then check out Clevo’s backdrop. It’s a well seasoned American flag. And did Tre ever have chants about him? I don’t recall one. Clevo definitely had one, and it eloquently spoke of how much the hardcore scene loved him. “Clevo Sucks” will always wring true ..

Oh, he’s also selling some Carry On records too, I guess.

$25 To Ship A Record? Carry On, Nothing To See Here …

I like Carry On, don’t get me wrong. But you’ve got to be fucking kidding me with the $25 shipping charge. Even if it is UK to the US. Unless klei5439 is sending it via drug mule, that shipping is ridiculous. The opening bid alone already smacks you at $25 so one record is going to cost you $50, no matter what. If that’s how you roll, go for it. Combining shipping will lessen the sting, and maybe no one else will bid allowing you to scoop both for $75 shipped.

It’s All Our Blood – Test Press … Sunday??

Pssshhhh, that’s bush league, bigxdig. Everyone knows you have to plan your auctions AROUND test press Tuesday. It looks like this dude started his auction on a Wednesday. He might squeeze a few hours out of a Tuesday, but not enough to get a coveted listing by Mr. Morgado. That guys king of zing .. and some shit like that. Regardless, this LP is cool. You get both EPs and a comp track (or two?), all re-mastered. It was a split release by Youngblood Records and React Records. Two great, independent labels. Big fans of both. This LP is limited to 15, which I sort of find hard to believe. I forget how many tests Sean usually does, but I thought Aram did more. Hmm, anyone got more info on this one?

The Little Details: Vision, Title Fight, Carry On, Underdog, …

Something about each of these auctions from itsxdead caught my eye. Ok, yes, each of them is for a dope fucking album, but it was something else that caught my eye. See if you can spot it.

Ltd to 88. Hot.

Thanks for the support Marlon. And everyone else, check out the rest of his auctions, he’s got gems.

Test Press Tuesday Rehash.

I’m guessing grooveghoul didn’t get his desired reserve last time, because this Carry On “Life Less Plagued” test press has been re-upped (it ended at $152.50, but his description said he saw one go for more than $350 so that’s probably the ball park where he had the reserve set). And since he re-upped it, we’re re-upping it. Mainly because this Test Press Tuesday is looking a little slow so far…

Test Press Tuesday Carries On.

Here’s another one from yesterday’s Test Press Tuesday that I neglected to post up on time (apologies to grooveghoul)…

Yeah. I slept on posting a Carry On lp test press. I’m a dick. But hey, there’s still 4 days left, and my guess is that the reserve isn’t even close to being met yet, so my 24 delay shouldn’t cost you much more than this is already gonna end up costing the eventual winner.

Carry On.

Whoops, I almost completely slept (literally, since I’m still sick) on getting this post of Carry On records from our pals Hoodrack and Six Feet Under Records up, and by doing so, we lost the 4:20 press, as that item is no longer available. But the rest of these are still up and running with a couple days to go…

edit: The 4:20 Fest version has been re-upped, so I fixed the link to go to the new auction. Phew!

Red Scroll Records Goods

If you are ever in Wallingford, Connecticut, I’d suggest hitting up Red Scroll Records Store. If their online listings are anything like their instore haves, this place must be bananas. Plus, the owner seems like a chill dude. You can’t go wrong there.

Carry On on orange vinyl. A Life Less Plagued. At the time, Carry On got a lot of shit for this LP, but you know what? It rips. Proper Bridge 9 material. And instead of the clear LP we usually see, this one is orange. It could get exciting.

Say Goodbye record release LP. This one is limited. Don’t sleep or you’ll be kicking yourself. I don’t think I attended this gig. I can’t tell you why I did not, but I’m kicking myself for not going. Almost 6 years ago. Crazy.

And oddly, this is the second one of these on ebay currently. Haven’t seen one in months, and now two at once. Weird.

420 Fest.

At this point, I’m seriously wondering if a road trip to redscrollstore‘s actual, physical store over in Waterbury CT is in order. So much good stuff from them these past couple weeks, so much that we haven’t even posted a bunch of it, and now they’re approaching the final hours. Case in point:

The limited “cover” from 420 Fest in Boston. Great show. And thanks to the wonder of the internet, you can watch the majority of it, tho they can be a little hard to watch due to some awkward stage positioning. Which is understandable, that place was mad crowded.

Some things you will notice include the tomahawk throw mosh at the the height of it’s popularity, at least 3 Noize Corp writers contributors diving and pitting, and that I am a dick. So much so that I think maybe I should take this time to publicly apologize to Spaulding for all the times I would assault him while moshing…

Nahhhhhhhhhh.

A Life Less Plagued.

Figured I’d kick things off with another from mazzo29, and it’s another record I never got into. But in this case, it’s more because it (surprisingly) just flew under my radar…

That’s right. Carry On’s “A Life Less Plagued” flew under my radar. What do you want me to say? I was a big fan of the Roll With The Punches 7 inch, but I never even heard this record til a couple years ago. I know people were freaking out over it at the time, either over how much they loved it or over how badly the singer had allegedly turned into Wes, and it was probably all the freaking out on both sides that made me tune out. But listening to it later… great record. The re-recorded versions of the 7 inch songs are especially killer (the intro to the version of Roll With The Punches on this record is like being attacked by a swarm of angry bees), though I probably feel that way because the RWTP songs were already my jams to begin with…

Shout outs to Todd and Corey, miss you dudes.

It’s All Our Blood

I came across this GREAT lot just now.

Actually, a little birdie told me about it …

Now, my math may not be the greatest (if you saw my tax return, you’d likely agree), but $67 for these 3 LPs seems like a a second best bargain to having actually done the pre-order the first time around. Color vinyl is sold out so you can’t get that anymore. Of course, you should still order the black vinyl from the labels. Support React Records and Youngblood Records.

Do it. Do it.

Great record.

Carry On Stabbed In The Face Test Press EP

This EP doesn’t get enough fanfare.

The Roll With The Punches EP gets a ton of attention (In fact, I was going to originally post the 420 EP, but the seller already yanked it from ebay. Must be VERY in demand). And the LP gets even more attention (sort of understandable as it is phenomenal). But this EP is great.

Clean cut, fresh faces out of Southern California. Hardcore the way it was meant to be played. Just going out there and having fun with it. Nothing too serious but packs a positive message. I can dig this.

Test press #4/8. Pick this one up. Feel free to cruise the seller’s other auctions for other rad Carry On gear too.
