P.E.A.C.E. comp 2xLP w/ booklet!

devilsmark is selling a classic comp here. I would even go as far as to say that outside of “Flex Your Head” this is my favorite 80′s comp. I first heard this on CD when I got it from NRA in 1998. Here is where I as a young punk kid first heard a lot of great bands that I would go on to love, like Cause For Alarm, Articles of Faith, Gism, Mob 47, Reagan Youth, DRI,and many more. I already heard some of these names and I think I saw an ad for the CD re-release of this in an New Red Archives catalog, and was like whoa, all these bands in one place, I gotta get it! All these years later I am still very glad I did.

It’s rare to find one with the big booklet! For a full list of bands and more information about this 2xLP not found in the auction go here. It’s at $30 right now with no bids and some time left, I think I paid $40 for mine a while ago, they aren’t getting any less rare. Don’t sleep.

Have some FAITH!

OK, this is not the blue or pink version, but it’s still an original press, and at .99 cents with 2 days left, why not give it a shot from valutunes? Seems like a value to me! Classic DC Hardcore. They say when you are a young kid coming up you prefer Void, and as you mature into an old record collecting geezer you grow to like the Faith more. I found that to be true in my case, although I still like Void a lot. I heard Dischord is re-releasing this 12″ with extra demo tracks, cool times.

Why am I the one to blame…

Holy grail.

I know nothing more sacred than this record. I love this record. And here’s an original. Rat Cage Records. I wanted to say that despite lots of griping about the B9 reissues, I couldn’t think of a better label or approach to re-releasing the material. Do I think the original cover is awesome, for a record that came out in 1984? Yes. Do I know why in 2010 it feels a lot more “inappropriate” and a lot less “crazy” to use the original cover for the reissue? Yes. This is a record. Music. Not a political statement. So to preserve the music, I praise Chris and B9, as well as doing an archivist proud by actually including the orig art as well. Cannot wait for the Underdog discography.

Until then… what about this. Price is right people.
