Tags Matching: close call

Somehow I only just now realized that our good buddy Tre‘s auctions have been going up in alphabetical order. So I figured what the hey, might as well just post a few selections each time we move up a letter. And C seemed like the place to start, because, well… calling this post “Tre’s C Section” made me giggle. I’m childish, what do you want.

Good stuff, all of it. Though I gotta admit, I never got all that into CR. All I really remember about them is that they quoted Jim Henson, I always thought that was pretty sweet. Collapse is of course most notable for their appearance on the classic New Breed comp, and for the glowing praise Gavin hoisted upon them in the liner notes for the sadly sub par Absolution discography. And Close Call was a severely under rated Boston band in the late 90s/00s, featuring our very own Cooch, that I had the pleasure of road crewing for once upon a time.
