Like I said before, redscrollstore may not be trying to fill the void left behind by Trash American Style, but when their auctions include such CTHC gems as both the Right Brigade demo and a rare live Follow Through cassette tape it’s hard not to make the assumption…

(If memory serves, the tape was to help get Delson a full time job at Trash. I think. Jay Bil will know.)

Throw in an assist from goldenempirepto and Hardcore For Education, and you could be on your way to a decent Follow Through Crew collection…

I believe it was in the fall of 2001 that I rolled down to CT with BTrust and Standhard for the Follow Through reunion at the Hanover House. I’d seen them many times in their prime and it always a blast, and since BTrust was playing guitar I figured I’d tag along. The rest of the line up was Josh Say No, Billy, and Craig. It was great. Straight Edge Revenge and True Till Death were covered, You Booze You Lose was played twice, I tried to dump Craig into the crowd as if he were a wheelbarrow… sadly, I don’t think Unity or Something To Say were played. it was a lot of fun. Which brings me to this:

Now, seller xxxevilxxx666 probably doesn’t know it, but tonight scenic Meriden CT just happens to be hosting a night of 1990s CTHC reunions…

That’s right. “Follow Through” is playing. I have no idea who’s actually gigging, but Standhard definitely won’t be there, and I’m guessing Craig will be totally drunk while singing You Booze You Lose. It’s gonna be something else. And if Ivan picks me up, I will definitely be there to try and tip Craig into the crowd like a wheelbarrow. Should be easier this time…
