I think that redtagmarket has one of the highese eBay feedback ratings I’ve ever seen. If your feedback is over a million I dont theres anything you cant sell!
This doesnt really fit the VinylNoize demographic, but its a CD that I always wanted to pick up and never did, but I’m going to now.
In 1991 Neil Young released a double CD called ‘Arc Weld’, that could also be purchased as 2 individual releases. I remember hearing how disgusted people were with the ‘Arc’ disc calling it garbage and noise, but I never understood why until I did a little research.
Aparently Neil Young did a tour with Sonic Youth opening and he got really interested in Thurston Moores use of feedback. Since some of Neils guitar solos got pretty noisy anyway he decided to go all out on the tour and when it was over they released a live disc of songs from the tour called ‘Weld’ and then Neil took his favorite segments of feedback and turned them all into one long instrumental called ‘Arc’ and out that out as well.
Its super cheap now and is probably one of the few ‘Noise’ records by a very well known artist. For this price I’m finally gonna grab a copy. to bad its CD only. : (
