Sadly, one band I could never get into was Kill Your Idols. Maybe it was a Jersey thing. Like, only people from New Jersey could like them (or Fast Times). Seller antiflag222 is from Bethpage, NY, but that might as well be Jersey, right? So it goes. But this test press is pretty rad. Because it’s the split with Crime In Stereo. Everyone loved that band. West coast to east coast. It was a bummer when they split up. Again, so it goes.

Test Press Tuesday Ending With a Fizzle Is A Crime.

Well, I got caught up finishing up a flyer, so I didn’t get a chance to do a proper write up on this one from needleinthehay8. The seller Cooch posted the Poison Idea’s tests from has some more stuff, but quite frankly I don’t have time to post ‘em now… guess we’ll be getting a Test Press Thursday this week.

If you have two friends stand on either side of you and say the title of this post at the same time, then I will have made a fantastic pun.

Crime In Stereo … is dead

A while back, Crime In Stereo called it quits. Nothing new, month old info at this point, no big revelations. Just cold hard facts. And for lots of fans, that’s a bummer. They had quite the following, no doubt. But thanks to b9closet, the fans have something to smile about. Chris Wrenn and Co have cracked open the B9 Closet (aka the vault) and have pulled out a bunch of Crime In Stereo rarities for you to enjoy. From test presses to limited colored vinyl, there’s a little bit for everyone. Enjoy. And if that isn’t enough, Alex the guitarist recently wrote up a little description of the end (and some news for the future). Get into it.

Is it just me, or is there a glut of hardcore test presses on ebay currently?

The Geeks LP on Think Fast! Records. Great Korean hardcore. Shout outs to Ki!

Where Fear And Weapons Meet EP These guys were hot for a minute. Then faded quietly into the night. I bet you can scoop this for cheap.

Until The End EP. Oh word?

Expect a battle over this one. Crime In Stereo EP. These guys are hot now, and with a new album releasing any day, expect this one to go supernova.

In an odd twist, there are TWO of these test presses on ebay currently. Haunted Life / Make Or Break split on Triple B Records. #7/20 and #13/20

Strife – One Truth LP on Victory Records. This album was on constant rotation years ago. Lately, it’s been harder and harder to spin. It’s beginning to feel super dated. I’m sure Chip would disagree …
