What is this thing that UNITED-RIOT-RECORDS is selling here? I guess this came out in 2010 and it’s a covers project with Kevin Seconds, Choke and members of Die Kreuzen and RF7 covering Vile, The Bruisers, Crucifix and Zero Boys? What the fuck, never heard of this. Limited to 500. Choke singing the Vile cover Dan from Die Kreuzen’s Crucifix song sound good though: http://www.myspace.com/hcconnection

CRUCIFIX – Dehumanization LP orig

One of my top 5 hardcore LPs ever, I could listen to this record every day and not get tired of it. I basically view it as the west coast counterpart Victim In Pain, which might make some NYHC purists think twice, but they have a lot in common—the production is almost exactly the same with the huge wall of sound guitars and thick, fuzzed-out bass, the extremely similar drumming (love the tom fills in Skinned Alive that sound like Fred Flintstone’s feet when he drives the car), and similar vocal styles. Also it’s no secret that Ray Cappo lifted the opening riff to “Indochina” for YOT’s “Understand.”

This record was repressed well into the 90′s, but you can easily spot an original by the small text on the bottom left of the front cover which states “Pay no more than £3.50″ (since this record was pressed in the UK.)
