Tags Matching: earlty 80′s HC

OK, this LP got re-released by Dischord with extra tracks, and you should buy it, but I kind of feel like they crammed too many songs on one LP and the sound quality might have suffered just a little from that. Here groucho45 is offering a copy of the original press of my favorite GI album. This is the 2nd pressing with the big cover art, I have both and I actually think the second pressing is better since it is on thicker vinyl, the first pressing is on pretty flimsy vinyl. GI went to release a lot of material, on this, their first full length they might have lost a little of that raw aggro they had on their debut 7″ but that’s not a bad thing since this record came out to be some of the catchiest early 80′s hc ever, with clever, funny lyrics soaked in social alienation. I’ve been loving this band ever since I got the “1981: A Year In 7″s” CD in high school and they only get better with age…

Here is another listing for this LP with a BIN, but the cover is in beat shape so I don’t know if it’s a great deal for $13, but maybe?
