When we (The Wrong Side) did a Canadian weekend with FVK in 2005, JJ told us a ton of his stories at dinner one day, and it was pretty cool to then turn around and see them in print a few short years later. I did, however, find the Impact fanzine Anthrax issue to be a more entertaining read than the Everybody’s Scene book; not that it was bad or anything, but the Impact issue was much more relevant to my interests.
