Even though I’m sure there are some people out there that don’t like Minor Threat, its pretty much imposible to deny the influence they had and what they did at the begining of ‘hardcore’. Its because of the things bands did that I try to support them (and their members) even if they do things that I dont like as much as the original material.
Jeff Nelson currently has a band he describes as ‘indie rock’ called Fast Piece of Furniture. They put out an album in 2007 called “Adventures in Contentment”, but it is finally being released on vinyl as a co-release between Dischord Records & Jeffs label Adult Swim Records. Its a super limited release, only 250 copies, all on yellow vinyl in a gatefold sleeve and this one comes signed by Jeff!
