Youth of Today – Rev BDTW Blue/Yellow Labels

makeachange88 has got a great username to be selling this Youth of Today – Break Down the Walls. I posted a *minty* copy of We’re Not in This Alone the other day, so I decided to post the first press copy of the Revelation Break Down the Walls. Out of the two LP’s I definitely prefer this release over WNITA, just hit, after hit, after hit…You can tell that this is a first press of the lp because of the blue and yellow labels and that the Matrix says “Nancy loves Walter and Mike.” Seller makeachange88 has a pretty crucial shirt that I’m sure will be posted on TTD soon, so check out this auction and that tee and his other auctions.

The Way It Is – Chilled

So check this out… not only does krewjones have a badass ebay user name, and claim to have had either a test press of this LP or some Warzone record (I can’t tell as the wording is unclear), but he also seems to be keeping his records in a refrigerator. At least, that’s how it looks to me from this picture.

It also looks like he doesn’t keep his records in the sleeve or keep the inserts in the sleeve or any of these things in a plastic cover. Maybe that’s why the booklet has a few creases?

Straight Ahead Sunday.

Seller hardcorex74 really killed it with the good stuff in the past 7 days, and Sunday is no exception. Straight Ahead first press on iRisk? Love it. I also love that he promises to auction off the 2nd press soon. I have one problem though…

This is some new york hardcore history documented on one piece of vinyl, Craig Ahead (SOIA’s bassist) on the mic.

That shit not pos.

TV Party/Six Pack 1st Presses.

Good thing I happened to glance at the User Submissions today, or I probably would have let this pair of classics from gardenhosewetter slip right by me… I wonder how many people got into Black Flag from the title tracks off these. I feel like probably a lot.

Out Of Step.

Another original pressing of a legendary/great/classic Straight Edge record here from destroy_records, though yes, technically Minor Threat weren’t that kind of “Straight Edge band” and didn’t intend to be, and this is the record with the half assed “explanation” shoved in the middle of the slowed down title track… doesn’t matter. Top 5 Straight Edge bands of all time, top 3 hardcore bands of all time. No arguments are acceptable.

Three For Three PM.

Seller adversewind brings us some records that no Edgeman’s collection is complete with out: one absolute classic, and two of the very best from the “second tier” of mid 80s Straight Edge bands, if you will pardon the term. Sadly, the condition of this Wishing Well version of Break Down The Walls is less than stellar…

How much HEART do you HAVE?

Heres 2 more from phoenix2443 that both end soon.

More beautiful colored vinyl from Bridge 9. Act quick and pick up “The Things We Carry” LP from Have Heart from the first press on blue/yellow mix vinyl limited to 260 copies and my personal favorite, the brown/tan mix vinyl limited to 640 copies.

This record has been pressed FIVE times for a total of over 5000 LPs and is still available from Bridge 9 (on clear/gold vinyl) if you just want the music to spin on your turntable.

One Underdog, Hold The Slav.

Given the recent heavy early activity on the Underdog seven inches that have been up in the past month, it seems odd to find one that’s been up for a couple days that’s still unbid upon. If I had to guess on a reason for that, I’d wager that it’s because seller patrick166 is Tee Till Death’s favorite sketchy seller, the man once known as nerveagent, Slavko.

His inability to decide on whether this is first or second press (it’s first, second press was the blue vinyl) probably isn’t helping him either. As always, when it comes to Slavko, buyer beware; much as I want this record, I’m not prepared to risk it, but if you’re a taker, go nuts.

Headed For The Dragon’s Lair.

I wish I had spotted xundergroundx’s auctions for these two GB 7 inches before sticking his auction for a Start Today on purple (ending in mere hours!) at the tail end of a Chain Of Strength post. Dude is legitimately heading for the dragon’s lair… whether you take that to mean he’s raiding it or that he’s gonna be filling it with the money he’s bringing in, I’ll let you decide.

BLUE HEART

Heres one from Washington DC’s own in_vinyl_we_trust. Attn TTD: That would look cool on a shirt!

The HAVE HEART – Songs To Scream At The Sun LP was pressed THREE times by Bridge 9 for a total of 5038 LPs on 6 different color vinyls… Thats pretty impressive!

There is sometimes some confusion with the blue vinyl of this release because it actually came out on 2 different blues, ones in the 1st press and again in the 3rd press. This one is from the FIRST press because its the solid blue. Oddly enough, the clear blue from the 3rd press is more limited (1000 copies) than this 1st press solid blue (1395 copies) but the clear blue is still available in the B9 Store and the 1st press blue is long gone!

is it fucking or is it playing golf?

I stopped eating meat almost 2 months ago, but this user name made me kind of hungry, cheese-borger, has a bunch of records in all sorts of genres for sale!

Minor Threat ‘Out of Step’ 12″ FIRST PRESS with the back cover thats completly black. I remember seeing one of these many years ago at one of the record stores on Thayer Street and probably passing it up to buy a live Metallica bootleg or a Sex Pistols 7″…. I was a Moron, you don’t have to be… grab this record now!

Bonus Footage:
Heres a picture of my XXX Straight Edge tattoo that incorporates the Out of Step artwork in it. I’m still not sure what colors to use to fill it in so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

HALLOWEEN HITS FROM HELL!

More original Misfits vinyl from Wakefield, Massachusetts. I wish I could just buy his whole collection!

3 HITS FROM HELL 7″ this is from the first pressing which included 7000 black vinyl with white/grey labels (the labels actually vary from white to almost dark grey) and large center holes (like this one) and another 3000 with red/orange labels and a large center hole. The first pressing was also suposed to come with a Fiend Club advertisement but it looks like its not included in this copy.

HALLOWEEN 7″ a one time pressing of 5000 copies on black vinyl with large center hole and orange labels. This record came with a lyric sheet (on orange paper), but unfortunantly its not included with this one. There are also about 10 copies with a black and white sleeve that Glenn made for some left over vinyl and gave to some friends. Doyle is credited as the guitar player on this record but Bobby Steels guitar track was actually used on Halloween II.

We’re Just a Minor Threat…

Another amazing original first press record from nuttymad. what a collection!!

Everytime one of these pops up I think about Record Store Day and the insanely mint copy they had at Armageddon Shop in Providence, RI for $500 and what an idiot I am for not whipping out my credit card. I had and sold a Chung King and don’t regret it, but I really regret not buying that damn Minor Threat 7″. Maybe I’ll keep an eye on this one and see how high it goes.

A few months ago I got a copy of a lyric sheet for this record that the band printed up to hand out at shows before the record was out so that people would be able to sing along. Its a MINT copy and has never even been folded. Jeff Nelson said they probably only made about 50 copies and he had that one in a book pretty much since they made them. Its a cool thing to have because it was the “first appearance” of the Straight Edge lyrics, but its not as cool as a 1st press 7″!
