Now this is cool provenance.

Mike played in a band call Half Life about 20 years before some crappy video game was made with the same name. They played some gigs around Pittsburgh, PA and were probably one of the first hardcore bands from Pittsburgh (this goes back to 1984 or so). They played plenty of gigs with plenty of bands.

One of those bands was Samhain. They opened up a few shows for them and back then, Danzig and company stayed at people’s houses, not some swank hotel or tour bus. Mike got all the guys to sign this LP for him. I’ve got to agree with Mike, Danzig’s signed comment is the best.
