Harvest 7″ Grey

I went through a bit of a 90s metalcore phase a few weeks ago. During the time I revisited a few bands I used to dig about ten years ago. One was Harvest (which I am sure you know is some pre Hope Conpiracy band that their singer David Arquette used to front), and I have to admit I used to like this band a lot. This little trip down memory lane prompted me to look around ebay to see if there were any interesting records for sale, which lead to me picking up this 7″ on Trustkill on red vinyl. And now sector.7g has a grey vinyl version up which is hand numbered on one side. Low number too. Kinda cool little item if you ask me.

Living With A God Complex

I’m going to be a good little Minnesotan and post something home-grown. I had to miss their reunion show but I heard it was off the chain. Here’s Harvest’s full length on Trustkill limited to 50! Yeap. To tell you the truth I don’t even know if I really like this album, my favorite Harvest stuff is probably the EP’s. But it’s mad limited so check it out.

Whoa – Trustkill Archives Opened

A few weeks back, a little birdy alerted us that the Trustkill archives were being opened and were up for grabs. We tried our best to buy whole kit and kaboodle. We were obviously unsuccessful as they are now all being sold on ebay courtesy of parades_end. He currently has 14 test presses up, but if he sells everything we saw on the original list, this is barely the tip of the iceberg. Seriously. The list was mind blowing. Lots of early Trustkill test presses, Ferret Records, just loads of early 90s gems. All the way up to today. Of course, these days, Trustkill is no more. I know, it’s weird right? The brains and move makers have shifted over to a new label called Bullet Tooth Records. We wish Josh and the rest of the crew the best of luck. We’d wish them more luck if they had sold those test presses to us, of course. ;)

I see Erika, Rainbo, … The good stuff! Terror, Harvest, This Is Hell, Throwdown, Bleeding Through, Disembodied, Walls Of Jericho, Eighteen Visions, … pretty much a dream come true for xstuckinthepastx crew.
