Hey you! Psst! While everyone is blowing their brains out over the Pat Flynn auctions up right now for super rare test presses and tour presses, here is your chance to pick up a really nice copy of “The Things We Carry” on the down low.

rambeaupunk is selling this yellow with green splatter 2nd press with around a day to go, a reasonable opening price and no bids.

I realize there were a 1000 of these pressed, but that hasn’t stopped people from driving the cost of this one up over the years. Now might be a good time to jump at it while everyone else is distracted!

Another heavy hitter from Pat Flynn’s Have Heart vault. With only 40 of these made there aren’t many to go around and someone crazy is going to have to shell out big bucks for this. I wasnt at the show but i imagine they flew off the shelves there too.

Slightly more friendly on the wallet is this 4th pressing on black. Out of 100 copies its still hard to track down.

Its not every day that Pay Flynn of Wolf Whistle (new record out on SFU soon) sells his records on ebay. In fact hes never done it, as evident by his zero feedback. So this is kind of a big deal i think? I mean they’re Have Heart test pressings being sold by this era’s Ian MacKaye.
The first ones i’m posting are my favorite record of theirs, test pressings for both the FIRST and FOURTH pressings of The Things We Carry. You know these are going to go through the roof so dig deep. This is going toward the Have Heart reunion tour fund.

Minor Threat 7″ with Weird Item Description

I think seller rowbeartoe1734 should pick his item description tags a little differently. It’s not the weirdest or totally out of place band names added to the end of the ebay auction “MINOR THREAT Filler 7″ OG Dischord Records! 4th Press!!” but why not add some classic Dischord bands, bands from DC or even bands from the 80′s to the end of this item. I could be wrong, but I think the average Title Fight and Have Heart fan that are looking at records on ebay aren’t going to be picking up a blue cover of the Minor Threat 7″.  But hey, if you searched for either Title Fight and Have Heart on ebay and happen to pick this up I’ll be gladly to admit that I was wrong.

Shipwreck (ad) 7″ for Test Press Tuesday

From the sounds of this auction, seems like permanentspringbreak just happened to stumble upon this Shipwreck test press. Could be a boon for him. Last one went for about $60 or so. And with it being the holiday season, perhaps this would make a great stocking stuffer for the BHC fan in your life?  It’s still at 99¢ right now, and the auction ends tomorrow afternoon.  I think you ought to go for it.  Like the dude states, “featuring one song with guest vocals by the guy from Have Heart” and you love Have Heart, this is a no brainer.

Because this pair of Boston Straight Edge recordings from gblairkemp are ending today: National Edge Day. Now, what band’s last show was probably the biggest NED show ever? Have Heart. And what band’s 2nd demo (put out for Edge Day on Edge Day Records) is the B side to the lp below? Stop and Think. Yes, a very appropriate pair of auction endings to start this years NED.

Heres another mini collection from fate_just_missed. Once youre done winning all those Things We Carry LPs you can go after Have Heart’s second album. All seven colors of the album are up for grabs. I think all thats missing are the Sound and Fury and record release covers.

Someone forgot to check off the “no 2 second gaps between songs” box on the order form for Pirates Press i thinks. Theres only 10 of these so bid hard.

My first Test Press Tuesday post courtesy of fate_just_missed. The heavy hitter of late 2000′s hardcore. The Things We Carry was Have Heart’s debut album and has probably gone platinum by now. I played a show in Italy once and after the show went to a crazy Italian villa and the girl who lived there had lyrics from this record written floor to ceiling all over her bedroom, along with Verse and Anti Flag.
Hopefully it doesnt go too high because Ive been bugging Pat for a while now about buying his copy.
