Indecision NYHC /150 mystery

Is seller planetnews518 a member of Indecision? Because most of what he is selling is different variations of this band’s vinyl. All good records I might add, although one thing that is bad is this dude’s descriptions. Like for this auction here, this silk-screened cover looks pretty cool, stain and all, except I have no idea what album this is, nor does the auction even say it, but it does say it’s OOP and out of 150.

Anyway, the first time I’ve ever heard of Indecision was from an ad for “Release The Cure” in Metal Edge. I was in a grocery store looking at it and I noticed in the picture Artie was wearing a Dropdead shirt, and I really dug Dropdead. I didn’t buy the album right away though, in fact it took a few years…

The new re-released version of “Unorthodox” sounds great btw, I actually had the old version and sold it because it sounded so crappy.

Another one here from pinkgirl3, this time a rare cover edition of the Indecision / Shutdown split 7″. As the story goes…

Once again, like the previous auctions from pinkgirl3 this is a charity auction with a portion of the proceeds is being donated to the food pantry at Reaching Out Community Services. As Justin puts it, “They’re a food pantry on New Utrecht Avenue but its set up like a supermarket so people can “shop” with dignity.”

More from pinkgirl3 who, I stand correct, is actually Justin from Indecision, and pinkgirl3 was HIS old AIM name. Whatever right? NYHC has its own rules. This one here is a test press of the Indecision / Indifference split. Doesn’t say how many this was limited to. But it does have a 411 cover, which is fantastic.

I got an email this morning from my friend Justin (formerly of Indecision and Most Precious Blood.) He wanted to tell me about some auctions that pinkgirl3* has up right now that are helping benfit a local NYC charity. There’s a bunch up now, but since it’s Thursday, figured I would start off with this Indecision 7″ test press. As the listing states…

The “Campaign For Complete Musikal Destruction” 7”s were pressed by us (the band) before a tour of the Pacific Northwest in 1998. There are 5 different covers – one for each band member. Each record was hand-stamped and featured a red origami folded insert. This is a true “test press” which we put together to use as a model before we assembled the rest. Also features an authentic Jack Chick cartoon tract stamped with our old PO BOX return address.

A legit test press straight from the band? Stop posing, and start bidding. A portion of the proceeds is being donated to the food pantry at Reaching Out Community Services. As Justin puts it, “They’re a food pantry on New Utrecht Avenue but its set up like a supermarket so people can “shop” with dignity.” Sounds like a good thing to me.
