Here are a few more gems from the fate_just_missed divorce sale. This time 3 beauties of the ISIS variety.

The Swarm Box Set – 2008 CONSPIRACY / ROBOTIC EMPIRE RECORDS limited to only 600 copies worldwide. I hope to own one of these someday.

OCEANIC REMIX BOX SET – ROBOTIC EMPIRE RECORDS clear vinyl limited to 300 copies!

SAWBLADE 12″ – 1999 TORTUGA RECORDS clear vinyl limited to 250 copies. This is the vinyl press of the original ISIS Sawblade CD which was limited to 100 (50 black/50 red) and sold on tour/given to friends. My Sawblade CD is a hilight of my collection because I got it from the guys in the band. Damn sentimental value keeps me from selling it!

Melvins – Isis – Split – 12″

As part of comemorating the final ISIS tour the Hydrahead folks whipped up a split between ISIS and the Melvins.

The Melvins side consists of remixes of 2 songs from The Bride Screamed Murder album, ‘Pig House’ & ‘I’ll Finish You Off’.The ISIS side is 2 previously unreleased songs from the Wavering Radiant recording sessions.

I know that the record came on at least 4 color vinyls (black, white, clear pink & opaque pink) but there could be more and I dont know the pressing numbers on any of them.

Here is a TEST PRESS if your a Melvins or ISIS super collector…

This ones for you if you like your records on plain jane BLACK vinyl…

Heres a PINK copy you can get your girlfriend for Christmas…

The mighty ISIS decided that they had ran their course and called it quits earlier this year. They did one final tour and that was it. I feel like they are not the kind of band that will come back very often if ever to play again, but you can still hear them live thanks to the “Live 9.23.03” record and thanks to theropey you have a chance at owning a test press of it!

theropey also has some other records up on eBay that I’m really psyched about! Not only does he have this ISIS test press, but he also has some gems from Lightning Bolt, the Melvins, Negative FX, Quicksand, Infest & a copy of the Cleanse the Bacteria Pusmort comp!

the ISIS SAWBLADE!!!

Back when I worked at Newbury Comics (yes another Newbury story!) I worked with Aaron, Mike & Clifford from ISIS. They were working there right as the band formed and for quite awhile after until they moved to California. During the time I was there I got to see them a bunch of times and was lucky enough to get one of the original ISIS ‘Saw Blade’ CDs. Mine is #38 of 200 and I remember going into my locker to get my sweatshirt on lunch and finding that Aaron had put it in there for me during his break. I was psyched to get it then and really appreciated him giving it to me, but after finding out how ‘rare’ they were and how big ISIS became I was even more excited. I’ve had a bunch of offers on it and I supose there are somethings I would be willing to trade it for, but they are few and far between because the sentimental value far exceeds the actual cash/trade value!

theapostle24 on the other hand was lucky enough to get a test pressing of the vinyl release of ‘The Sawblade’ which is also pretty damn cool and much rarer! It’s limited to only 8 from Tortuga records.

SHADES OF THE SWARM!

thevonroyale is selling a bunch of cool stuff, but this one always catches my eye!

ISIS – Shades of the Swarm 12 x 12″ box set! I want one of these really bad, in fact the only box set I want more than this is the Dropdead one (help me find one!?).

It was released in 2008 by Robotic Empire and Conspiracy Records. It was a limited edition of 600 sets and each company produced 300 of them.

Each cloth-bound box is embossed with a gold illustration by Aaron Horkey, and includes 12 180 gram vinyl records compiling the Mosquito Control EP, the Red Sea EP, the Sawblade EP, the Celestial double LP, the Sgnl>05 ep, the Oceanic double LP, the Panopticon double LP and the In the Absence of Truth double LP plus a giant 12″ x 36″ poster insert that contains the lyrics for the entire discography!

TOOL – Anemia Test Press.

I’m not really a fan of tool. I feel like they have these parts that are huge musical build ups and then there is no pay off. I know that a lot of people are HUGE fans and I would think a test press of a band like this doesnt pop up for sale that often.

a SWARM of ISIS test presses

three auctions for different variations of ISIS test press records. They are coming from someone in the loop either with the band or Hydrahead, but I’m not sure who. Definitly some cool stuff if you’re a fan.

1st auction is a test press for the double LP panopticon

2nd auction is a test press of only side D of the panopticon LP. Aparently there were lots of pressing plant issues when they were doing this record and somehow they ended up with a test press of only LP 2 of and one side was completly smooth.

3rd auction is the best one in my opinion. Its a complete set of test presses for the Oceanic Remixes volumes I-IV. The seller says there were only 8 test presses of volume IV so this one of 8 or less complete sets!
