Most people know that I’m a huge fan of Slapshot (and some other Boston hardcore bands), but I’m also huge fan of Howard Stern. I’ve been listening to the show pretty much every morning since I graduated highschool. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to listen at most of the jobs I’ve had and got a life time subscription to Sirius as soon as he anounced he was moving there. Hes been saying that he doesnt think he will resign with Sirus, but will continue doing something (probably internet based) but we wont know what happens for a few more months!

For all the Fridays that Howards not on in addition to his 10 weeks of vacation you can pick up some of this stuff to fill in the Howard free time!

Howard Stern – Crucified By The FCC box set was released by Howard in 1991. This is the double CD version, but it was also released on cassette. It also came with a book and was originally only sold dirrectly by the Stern show through a 1-800 number.

Stuttering John – 1994 self titled CD. Stuttering John was a staff member of the Stern show who also had a (struggeling) rock band and managed to put out a couple of CDs. The single “Talk My Way Out Of It” off this record is actually a catchy rock song, but the best part of this auction are the keywords “Motorhead” and “Suicidal”.

Captain Janks is often considered to be the King of the Phoney Phone Call. He has been making calls to news programs, TV shows and anywhere else he can get on live TV using elaborate lies and deception just so he can inevitably shout “Baba Booey, Baba Booey, Howard Sterns Penis”…. High Comedy!!

Jackie Martling aka Jackie The Jokeman was an on air writer for the Stern show through the 80′s and 90′s but seemingly commited career suicide when he left the show claiming they wouldnt pay him enough money. He was eventually replaced by Artie Lange and was forgotten about until Howard gave him a show called “Jackies Joke Hunt” (Jokehunt… get it?) on Sirius channel 101. This is one of Jackies early comedy/song albums and its signed with a really low BIN. I almost wanna grab this one!
