Metallica – Kill Em All – Megaforce

Seller honest_d has got up for auction Metallica’s debut LP “Kill Em All” on Megaforce Records. This auction has the LP in its original shrink wrap, which can be a cool thing to some collectors, but it doesn’t really matter to me as long as it’s not too badly worn down.

A lot can be said about Metallica’s first several LP’s but this is the one that started it all. It’s always good to start from square one with this band after they put out an embarrassing release like LULU. That record only sold 13,000 copies in it’s first week of release (LOL). The original stamps for Megaforce is a metallic gray color with black lettering, just like this auction. This LP was later re-issued on Elektra records. This is definitely a first press, but I can’t recall having seen one with green labels before. Anyone got any info on that? Cooch, I’m looking in your direction…
