I have so much love for this 7″. If I were straightray I wouldnt be getting rid of it.
Before he was in Raw Deal, Anthony Comunale was in Token Entry. They recorded an LP which got scrapped but they salvaged 4 songs from the session to release this record. Go Kart was supposed to put out the unreleased album in the 90s but they “never got art” for it so it didnt get released. However when I asked Ernie i was told the master tapes were lost. I hope it was actually the first reason and the session does see the light of day eventually.
The only thing thats a drawback about this record is the cover is a weirdly oversized and doesnt exactly fit in plastic sleeves. That and the stupid ass Flex pressing info included in the description.

Just Killing Time, waiting for test press Tuesday to be over
I am sure that orangerory is a nice dude. He probably doesn’t mean to tease. And it’s not like I would expect anyone to put “Chill son it’s on Lost & Found” in the title of ANY test press auction. But god dammit if I didn’t get psyched for a second. I have a couple Lost & Found test presses myself still, and, yeah, it is fun to say, “Yeah, I got a Youth Of Today test press.” But it’s not THAT cool. Here is what is cool though. This Killing Time LP is one of, if not THE greatest New York Hardcore record ever recorded. This is probably as close as you will get, so why not just go for it!
TESTS OF SPLITS & SPLITS OF TESTS
Here are a couple more worth pointing out from xsheerxterrorx’s current crop of auctions.
The Hoods & Lockjaw split 7″ TEST PRESS!

Bringing The Heat To Test Press Thursday.
It’s pretty hot out there this Test Press Thursday, and I’m sure anybody with the option is spending the day in air conditioning. A smart choice, to be sure, but I’ve got bad news for you: seller hardcorex74 has brought some serious heat to Test Press Thursday. We’re talking test presses for not one, not two, but for THREE hardcore classics…
Yes, that is a Lost and Found stamp you see on the Killing Time test, which makes it a test of the L&F version, but the Faith test came directly from Ian MacKaye, and the Urban Waste test certainly looks legit. I’m sweating already.
No Longer At Ease/Brightside.
If you’re a NYHC fan, and crrussum’s Antidote ep was priced too high for you, I suggest you take a shot at one of these two classic slabs of vinyl that he also has up, started at far more reasonable rates.
A Winning Pair.
From natalia112345‘s NYHC collection comes two that go hand in hand in recent years, and both auctions end today…
Love the “formerly NYC’s Raw Deal” sticker. Not only is there a long friendship and history between these two, but members of both bands are now playing together in the super Sabbathy Kings Destroy.
East Meets West
Hardcore 1990!
Check out this under appreciated gem from unholybloodlust. The East Meets West comp on Nemesis Records. Nemesis Records #4. Just a great little comp. I don’t think any of the tracks are comp exclusives (Wall Of Hate, Just Can’t Hate Enough, Injustice System … all on LPs by the bands), but bringing together all of these artists on one piece of wax is a crowning achievement. You could hand this to a young coremin for a starter course on the core. A little bit of everything for everyone. I wish they had got an Insted track instead of the Carry Nation, but heck, beggars can’t be choosers.
And with this auction, you get the clear vinyl AND a test press. Pretty cool. Of course, just like New Age Records, Nemesis Records didn’t seem to have any definitive pressing info for either of these records. Test press counts vary greatly. If anyone has any detailed info, let me know. I wonder if Big Frank knows?
Thanks to @javjavjav for pointing this one out to us.
Granted, the Simpsons AND Calvin & Hobbes may be pushing it on the cartoon front. How about some cartoon consistency?
More Cassette Noize!
This time you can hit up the_texan_1969 , barrypublications and zagoraz and add three more great cassettes to your (or mine) newly started tape collection!
1 – Circle Jerks – VI
2 – Killing Time – Bright Side (Sealed!)
3 – Rest In Pieces – Under My Skin
I remember when I got all three of those releases for the first time and it was on cassette for each of them and I think I still have at least two of em!
its KILLING TIME!
gems of all kinds at all kinds of prices are being sold by wardiggity
so bid it up and save on shipping!
This specific one is a white vinyl split 7″ between NYHC kings, Killing Time split & Profound Effect. 1994 Lost & Found Records.
Buy It. Play it. Mosh it.
One Step Forward… Two Steps… BACK!
The first show I ever saw in Boston was at a club called ‘The Edge’ which was right behind (and I think connected) The Channel. The show was Killing Time, Sheer Terror, The Ice men and a few other bands that I cant remember. It was awesome!! I saw Killing Time again a few years ago at Significant Fest in Florida when I was doing merch for Slapshot. The show was in a huge metal building and it had to be 100+ degrees in there! I kept buying shirts from bands just so I could change into a shirt that was dry for a few minutes! I ended up with a Killing Time ‘logo shirt’, a Raw Deal ‘wolly mammoth’ shirt, a Stigma for President shirt and a Stigma ‘still crucified’ shirt.
Those were both awesome shows… I bought some awesome shirts and this is an awesome record that you should buy if you don’t already have it!
