While this is nowhere near Kreator’s best album (that would be Extreme Aggression) and was released on the down slope near the end of thrash’s seven year run at the top, Coma Of Souls contains one of the best metal songs ever written. Check out the lead track “When The Sun Burns Red” on youtube and you will be compelled to bid on this album while throwing on some skinny jeans and white hi tops.

Your word isn’t worth more than puke in the dust

jenantava has over 1,500 records for sale including one of my favorite thrash records of all time by probably the best metal band out of Essen, Germany.

Kreators 1989 LP ‘Extreme Aggression’. I know that a lot of people prefer ‘Pleasure to Kill’ & ‘Terrible Certainty’ but ‘Extreme Aggression’ is by far my favorite! I got to see them on the ‘Coma of Souls’ tour and since it was only a year later they played a lot of the songs off of ‘Extreme Aggression’ and I was psyched! Huge bonus that Biohazard opened the show and kicked ass too!

Nothing better than Mille screaming ‘Your word isn’t worth more than puke in the dust’ in the chorus of ‘Betrayer’. \m/

The price of this record always surprises me. Even though this is a reasonable BIN, it seems like the kind of LP you could grap for under $10 and it never seems to pop up that cheap for some reason.
