Verbal Assault was a hardcore band.
They were from Newport, Rhode Island.
They played their first show on 21 November 1983.
They were the pioneers of RIX (Rhode Island Straight Edge).
They released a demo called ‘The Masses’.
They released three EP’s ‘Learn’, ‘On’ & ‘Exit’.
They released a 7″ called ‘Tiny Giants’.
They released an album called ‘Trial’.
They played their last show on August 4, 1991.
Two members (Thomas & Chris Gorman) went on to play with Tanya Donelly in Belly.

Here we have test presses of the ‘Learn’ EP (Positive Force Records) and the ‘Trial’ LP (Giant Records). Two records that will make an amazing addition to any collection, but I really hope they go to someone in Rhode Island!
