I never got to see Project X. I’d love to tell you a story about the time I saw a drunk in the pit, or a shutdown show or the gig in Belgium. But I can’t. I was probably only 10 years old. But I can tell you a different story. Back when I was finishing up school in Worcester, Mike and I lived in this shit hole apartment. Hell, our landlord was even nicknamed Frank Sketchy (his Italian last name was very similar to Sketchy). Over the year living there, I took my life into my own hands multiple times around the apartment. For instance, our shower kept shocking the shit out of us. Turns out the wiring for the downstairs kitchen was exposed to the drain pipe of our shower. Every time you would touch the drain, you’d get shocked. Or the time I helped move a refrigerator down the back stairs. Stairs that should never have been walked down. I was honestly afraid the stairs were going to peel away from the house. Or the the time the girls downstairs refrigerator caught on fire (this is the fridge I helped move down the scary stairs). Yeap, it happened. Somehow the fridge over heated and caught fire to some papers that were on top of it. This set off the fire alarm, trucks came, good times. But I wasn’t home for that. I missed out on it completely. How did I find out? Why, a girl knocked on my door during a furious living room mosh session. I had just put on the Project X ep and was diving onto our second hand couch repeatedly. Like a good neighbor, she knocked thinking someone was injured or fighting. I had to claim it was just me having fun upstairs. When she claimed it “sounded like a mosh pit,” I just grinned sheepishly and walked away. Good times.

As for this EP, you can’t beat it. The real deal, not a bootleg, with hand written labels. Now I’ve seen a lot cooler labels before, but these are great. This is of the 300 non-stamped, non zine version. Good look. zuckus138 is a legit seller who got this back in the day. Snap it up!
