Both Feet On The Ground!

Look Alive was dope. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. They definitely broke up too early. That’s a fact. But don’t worry too much, they went on to be in some of your favorite Boston Straight Edge bands: Step Forward & Free Spirit*. You can’t beat that, really. But courtesy of Mr badnewsbrendan**, you can pick up their first EP from Lockin Out Records on limited yellow vinyl. You won’t find a lot of these floating around out there. Very crucial purchase. I’m not sure on the exact pressing, but perhaps we can get Greg to chime in.

And here’s the Sweet Vision comp from Lockin Out records being sold by one of own, chrismin. This comp does NOT feature Look Alive, but it should have.

Lockin Out Lot

Oh man, untriedanduntested is selling a gem of a lot. Seriously. This was my life in the early 2ks. Every weekend felt like a Lockin Out showcase. Rampage – Head In A Vice. Best demo ever? But it’s probably more appropriate to call him “the guy with the teddy bear tees.” Great look. Crunchtime – Ur Moshin. Great team of dudes, lots of weigh lifting talk. Justice S/T? Shut it down. Lion Of Judah? Fuckin hippies… One love! And throw in the Sweet Vision comp and you’ve sealed the deal. But don’t sleep on this color vinyl lot, there are only has a few hours left.
