T.E.S.T. for M.O.D.

I don’t listen to enough M.O.D. and I really need to do something about that. I’m actually not even sure if I have a copy of U.S.A. for M.O.D. and yo_baby_sup is lucky enough to be selling a test pressing that he says he got right from someone at Megaforce.

I remember seeing the video for the song ‘Vent’ off of the Gross Misconduct on Mtv and the VJ making a big deal about it being the shortest video of all time. Gross Misconduct isnt a bad record, its got some good songs and a Fear cover which is alway nice, but U.S.A. for M.O.D. has some classics like Bubble Butt, AIDS, Hate Tank, Arent You Hungry and many many more!

Goldfish from Hell

I was inspired to put on this record after seeing an old M.O.D. shirt on www.TeeTillDeath.com and it was like I was being transported back to 1988! I love the comedic value of this record, but the music is great too. One of my favorite things is that the whole record a soundtrack (with dialog inserted between songs) for a fake movie, but it always reminded me a lot of ‘Back to the Beach’ the Frankie Avalon & Annette Funicello movie from 1987. Side note: it always irritated me that ‘Back to the Beach’ was billed as a Pee Wee Herman movie. He was in it for about 3 minutes and the movie is great enough to stand on its own merit!
