Ball of Destruction!

I havent heard it yet, but the new Madball record came out yesterday. I went to the Newbury Comics near by work, but I bought the Arson Anthem cd insted of Madball.

Also I know that last month Morgado made a post saying that the 3 best Madball records are Set It Off, Demonstrating My Style & Hold It Down. My personal favorte Madball record is still the original Ball of Destruction 7″.

The copy that jerryf828 is selling is still in the original plastic sleeve so it has the sticker explaining about how young Freddy is on the record. I think having the sticker makes the record even cooler!

FRANK 151 Book.

Seller madashellgc brings us the DMS edition of the FRANK 151 book/zine, but I can’t help but notice that he doesn’t provide any sort of accompanying soundtrack…

Fortunately, hauntedtownrecords and mnl_studios have some under rated Madball records to go with it…

Madball covering Killing Time. ’nuff said.

The last great Madball record. I like a song here or there off the stuff that has come after, but Hold It Down is up there with Set It Off in my eyes.

Its My Life & I’ll Shave My Hair!

chrisreject from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is selling a bunch of records and a 4 color screen print set up!

This is from the Martyr Records pressing of the Madball NYHC ep. It was originally a CD ep released by Thorp Records, but they licensed it to Martyr to press on vinyl. They did a clear (110), white (330) and blue (1150) copies and there were about 20 test presses.

The Three Best Madball Records.

As far as I’m concerned, this is fact, and you can not sway me.

And before someone tries to argue it, yes, the 7 inches are classic. But they’re also both composed of the same songs, most of which are covers, and the best of the originals are reprised on Set It Off. So I can’t in good conscience count them.

Droppin Many Suckers

Early Madball is some of my favorite Madball. You cannot go wrong with any track off of Droppin Many Suckers or the Ball Of Destruction EP. It’s impossible. And the Set It Off LP makes my list of top favorite hardcore LPs of all time. That’s right. It’s that good. Call me controversial, but I’m a big fan. Peep that Roadrunner Poster. Not too shabby. Not the usual promo poster you see for that album. I’m feeling it.

Make sure to check out balduin44′s other auctions, as he seems to start his auctions at a reasonable price. Not sure why everyone else thinks $50 is a good opening bid for a Madball EP. Not wise.

NYHC

xxxevilxxx666 seems to have a consistent flow of quality records for sale. I just have to remember to check his other auctions from home because I can’t view them since anything with XXX is blocked by the firewall on my work computer… bastards!

the NYHC ep was released by Thorp Records in 2004, but since Thorp only releases CDs (at this point) they licensed out the rights to press it on vinyl to Martyr Records.

Martyr pressed 1590 copies (+ 15 test presses) including 110 on clear vinyl, 330 on white vinyl and 1150 on blue vinyl.

Smell the Bacon?

Madball ‘Ball of Destruction’ via Brookline, MA which means it was probably bought at a Newbury Comics store which is where I got my 1st Madball 7″ too!

Not a band that I love, but still a great record that I enjoy from time to time and you should too!
